We're looking to employ, train and ultimately hire at least one student engineer with an interest in working with control and communication systems.

The work will vary widely and is highly project dependant, but will likely include elements of network design, fault finding and programming. You'll get the opportunity to work on projects of different sizes, and at all phases of the project lifecycle. We are particularly keen to hear from computer science students who have a keen interest in programming.

No specific experience is necessary, however to succeed in this role you'll need to be confident in dealing with a wide range of people; from clients to other team members. You'll also need to possess good written and verbal communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment and (with the appropriate technical training and support), be able to confidently work alone.)

The role will be a mix of home-working, in-office, and on site.

Candidates will be given support and training in any specific systems needed for the role but should be able to demonstrate some knowledge of data communications, networks, and requirements engineering.

They will be required to produce work in accordance with strictly maintained standards, and work regularly and confidently with clients. They should be committed to developing their technical interests and studies in a relevant way, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be eager to work hands-on.
