About the Role
Nottingham City Council is looking for a Public Realm Operative to predominantly work within the depot and be responsible for the day to day running of our bin maintenance. This will include bin repairs at various locations and on site, the movement of bins around the depot ensuring they are safely stores, taking bin stock information etc. Operatives are required to be flexible depending on the service needs as loading on bin rounds will also be incorporated. About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Be able to work flexible hours. This also includes weekend working bank holidays
- The role requires applicants to be physically fit and be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Applicants must have good understanding / knowledge of working in a customer focused environment and have customer care skills to deal with commercial customers on a daily basis.
