Description
Sterling Hydrotech is a leading swimming pool water treatment company and has been established for over 30 years. We are looking for an Internal Sales Engineer, preferable based in the Midlands, to sell and promote our services in the South of England. Please note, there is flexibility with area which can be adapted based upon the experience of the candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities, manage CRM leads, and generate quotes for repairs, refurbishments, and remedial works.
- Create standardised quote templates and write filter survey reports with associated pricing.
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers for costings and support the tender bid manager with submissions when needed.
- Assist with sales order processing and provide monthly reports on sales leads and opportunities.
- Conduct site visits to both new and existing clients, support trade shows and sponsored events, and encourage cross-selling across WCS and Marlowe.
- Work collaboratively within the team and perform additional duties to support business operations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year's experience in a sales-focused role
- Background in the swimming pool industry, with working knowledge of pool plant and filtration systems
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex equipment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Proficient in the use of standard computer applications and CRM systems
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
