Description
Duties will include, but not limited to
• Carry out machine shop duties as required and allocated.
• Carry out machining of aircraft repair parts.
• Carry out machining of aircraft parts.
• Carry out fabrication of tooling, jigs and fixtures.
• Create work packs.
• Comply with all company procedures, policies, regulations and MOE.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to.
Experience and Qualifications:
• Previous aircraft maintenance experience is desirable, however not essential.
• Manual turning and milling experience.
• Ability to operate and program VMC’s (Hurco WinMax).
• AutoCAD experience.
• Experienced and competent using inspection tooling.
• Experienced with interpreting engineering drawings.
• Experience with Microsoft office word & excel software.
• Willingness to create work cards/work packs.
• Engineering background or relevant academic qualification is essential.
• Exhibit a positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
• Willing to work shifts (4 on 4 off).
• Flexible approach to working in a fast changing environment.
